高齢者の自律性に関連する要因の検討

Abstract

本研究では、高齢者を対象に自律性の関連要因について明らかにすることを目的とした。対象者は福岡市、広島市の老人クラブ会員290名である。調査内容は自律性についはPerceived Enactment of Autonomy (PEA)日本語版、基本属性として年齢、性別、女敵国状況、世帯構成、職業、教育歴、主観的健康状態、かかりつけ匿の有無について自記式質問紙調査を行った。本研究に参加した対象者のうち、有効回答の得られた220名(75.9%)の平均年齢は74.2歳、男性が67.7%であった。PEA日本語版の総得点の平均は86.98(SD4.40)、下位尺度の自発性、個性、自主独往について26.08(SD3.68)、34.58(SD4. 72)、26.72(SD3.11)であった。自律性に関連する要因として主観的健康状態(p<0.01)が挙げられ、健康状態が よいほど自律性が高かった。また、ソーシャルサポート総得点の別居子・親族において有意な関連(p=0.038)を認めた。以上から、高齢者の自律性の関連要因については、内的要因だけでなく、高齢者を取り巻く外的要因についても考慮することが重要である。

This study examined factors re1ated to autonomy among older adults. Two hundred ninety members of senior clubs in Fukuoka and Hiroshima participated in the study. A self-administraed questionnaire was conducted, including survey items from the Japanese version of the Perceived Enactment of Autonomy (PEA) and demographic information such as age, gender, marital status, 1iving arrangement, occupation, educational 1eve1, se1f-reported health status, and if consulting a family doctor. Of these, 220(75.9%) were valid responses, the mean age was 74.2, and 67.7% of respondents were male. The average score on the PEA was 86.98(SD4.40), and the vo1untariness, individuality, and se1f-direction subscales were 26.08(SD3.68), 34.58(SD4.72), and 26.72(SD3.11), respective1y. Factors re1ated to autonomy included self-reported health status (p<0.01); a betier self-reported health status indicated a higher PEA. Additiona11y, social support from chi1dren or re1atives living separately was significantly associated with autonomy(p=0.038). Thse results suggest that the factors related to autonomy among older adults are considered internal and external factors.
